RASPBERRY AND WHITE CHOCOLATE SCONES ARE ON THE TABLE TODAY

This is the easiest and most successful trick i have learnt in a while.

BASIC SCONE INGREDIENTS

4 Cups of Self Raising Flour

1 Can of Lemonade

! 300ml Tube of Cream (you can use light if you want)

Put all the ingredients together in a bowl, use a knife and carefully mix it

all together until it makes a dough. Be gentle and just use a cutting action.

Flour the bench and kneed the dough a little until it makes a nice smooth ball.

Once again be gentle and don't over do it.

At this stage you can add what you like. Sultanas, White Chocolate and

Frozen Raspberries, Mixed Frozen Berries, its up to you and you can add as

much or as little as you like.

Carefully kneed these ingredients into the dough, I do it all at one time so you

don't over kneed the dough and make them heavy. I also sometimes seperate

out a third of the dough and make some plain ones

Flatten the dough out until you can cut 12 scones out, Place then close together

on a buttered tray.

Bake on 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

Serve with butter and jam or just how you like them . . . enjoy
